Coco Crisp went yard for the Boston Red Sox again and it was ultimately the difference as the Sox beat Philly 3-0.
Crisp hit a two-run homer in the second inning to give Boston a 2-0 lead and Julio Lugo drove home Crisp in the sixth on an RBI double making it 3-0.
Jon Lester scattered six hits over 7 innings of work while walking one and striking out five improving to 6-3 on the season.
Jonathan Papelbon earned his 20th save of the season.
Star of the Game: Crisp
Coco is on fire of late just when the Sox need him with Ortiz still out and the fact that we need more production from the role players on this team.
Preview of Next Game: Masterson
This should be interesting to see how Masterson pitches against a pitcher at least three times today. I think Bartolo Colon is going to look less foolish after Masterson gets done with some Phillies pitchers.
