According to the NBC Sports conference call announcing Dan’s joining Football Night in America, Dan’s contract will be for the NFL and he will have a role in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
Dan will also be on NBC’s coverage of the Super Bowl this February.
Dick Ebersol says Dan’s role will be further hashed out later as an agreement was just made in the last ten days. More to follow.
