$100,000,000 doesn’t buy what it used to

Here’s a table that represents the salary difference between the Yankees and Red Sox starting lineups for game one of this week’s series that I mentioned on this weeks podcast (listen here).
Pretty astounding. Six Red Sox under $500,000 in 2008 salary; Seven Yankees over $13,000,000.
Result – Red Sox 7, Yankees 3
