I just saw Jenn Brown’s debut piece on Inside the NFL on Showtime. She did a story on Los Angeles football fans and threw in some scenes of “players” from the Lingerie Football League plus a women’s fantasy league.
It seemed more like a softcore porn piece than the journalism we’re used to seeing on Inside the NFL. I have no problem with softcore porn, but leave it out of Inside the NFL.
Jenn Brown is a hot chick, but Cris Collinsworth went a bit overboard trying to give her credentials as an athlete at the University of Florida.
Needless to say, I was not impressed. Jenn says she’s doing to do lighthearted pieces on the NFL. Well, if that’s a preview of what we’re going to see, then the people at HBO Sports might be happy letting Inside the NFL go.
