Ohio State 28, Troy 10 – Initial thoughts

Initial thoughts;

– Yes, Pryor is the real thing.  He’s got his full game under his belt and he looked superb in it.

– Play calling was EXTREMELY bland.  I’m going to write it off as the coaching staff getting Pryor used to it, but if it continues nobody will be happy watching Tressel and Company box in a talent like #2.

– The defense looked great.  They allowed a couple drives to run longer than the rest, but we almost always buckled down when necessary.  Troy has some firepower, so holding them to 10 points is a real special accomplishment (they put up 34 against Georgia and 31 against Florida last season)

– Brian Hartline has begun to show up again.  Both his TD receptions were tough catches to focus on.

– Robiskie caught a TD, but that was pretty much it on the day.  It was a nice grab, though.

– The defensive line held their own against a spread offense.  Pressure in the backfield was frequent and a pleasant sight
