If only the replay system could be used to fix David Ortiz’s swing.
For the second straight day at Fenway Park a potential home run was reviewed. Kevin Youkilis hit a shot to left field in the fifth inning but it was ruled foul. Meanwhile, Ortiz continued to struggle with an 0-for-5 day including two strikeouts.
Somehow, Boston continues to win considering Ortiz left 8 men on base on the day.
Youkilis got his retribution in the seventh inning launching a three-run shot to the Monster, seventh dinger of the season, padding the Red Sox lead at 12-5.
Mike Lowell also hit a three-run homer, his eighth of the season.

Next Game – 5/25 vs. Minnesota Twins – Brad Penny/Francisco Liriano
