Janssen (1-1) won his first game as a starting pitcher since June 30, 2006 out dueling Tim Wakefield pitching seven innings, giving up 11 hits, three runs, two walks and two strikeouts.

Goat of the Game – Wakefield
Not a good outing for Boston’s most consistent pitcher of the season so far.
