Fresh off winning a national championship, three UConn Huskies women’s basketball players will be heading to Belgrade, Serbia from July 1-11 to compete in the World University Games.
After surviving the initial cuts, Tina Charles, Maya Moore and Tiffany Hayes headed back to Colorado Springs to U.S. Olympic Training Center for another training camp on June 18th. Now they’ve endured another round of cut downs and will remain in Colorado Springs for training camp until they depart on Thursday for Serbia.
