A quick look at Saturday (so far)

Obviously, we at The BBC (and across the Buckeye Nation) are still upset at the pollsters from Associated Press for last weekend’s debacle.

We’re currently at #13 in the AP poll.

We just got done manhandling Illinois 30-0, holding them to 170 yards of offense. That’s worthy of a climb of some sorts, right?

  • #4 Ole Miss lost to an unranked team (South Carolina) 16-10 Thursday night
  • #5 Penn State got beat (at home) by unranked Iowa, 21-10
  • #6 California just lost to an unranked team (Oregon) by a horrific 42-3 score.
  • #9 Miami just got their asses spanked by #11 Virginia Tech, 31-7.

If the AP has a small amount of respect left, they will put the Buckeyes over all four teams and get us back into the Top 10.

And before anybody thinks about leap-frogging us like Oklahoma did last week…..

  • #14 Cincinnati won 28-20 against unranked (and 1-3) Fresno State
  • #15 TCU won 14-10 over unranked (and 2-2) Clemson
  • #16 Oklahoma State is playing Grambling State. They can put 130 on the board and not deserve to jump anybody for that cupcake

I know my opinion makes not a lick of difference, but there ought to be a revolution if the AP doesn’t return us to the Top 10 or 11.

There’s no WAY that Cal deserves to be in front of us
There’s no WAY that Ole Miss deserves to be in front of us
There’s no WAY that Miami deserves to be in front of us
There’s no WAY that Penn State deserves to be in front of us

Do the right thing, AP voters.
