Ted Ginn Did Everything!

The NFL has a new name in the record books.  Ted Ginn Jr. returned two kickoffs for TDs in the same quarter, leading Miami to a 30-25 win over the New York Jets.

In the third quarter (after Dolphins QB Chad Henne moved the Fins back 7 yards with his mighty offensive prowess), the Jets drove down the field and scored a FG to take a 6-3 lead.  The ensuing kickoff went to Ginn at the goal line, who took it 100 yards for a score and a 10-6 Miami lead.

Miami stifled the Jets on the next possession, and Jason Taylor (cough, Ohio man, cough) took a fumble back 48 yards for another score and a 17-6 lead.  The Jets were not finished, though and they scored a TD on the next drive…but they had to kick off again.

Ginn took the ball one yard deep, and 101 yards later, he scored the TD and gave his team a 24-13 lead which would stand up.

Three weeks ago, when Chad Henne barely squeaked by in his first start, this site was flooded with Michigan sycophants who all demanded I take down my “Chad Henne Is A Joke” video, because Chad clearly was headed for the Hall Of Fame.

Henne, in today’s game, was 12 for 21 for 114 measly yards.

I wonder if the Henne fans will return?

Nahhhhhhh.  Here’s a present for you BBCers.  The Dead Schembechlers with a live double-play.  “Chad Henne Is A Joke”, and “Ted Ginn Did Everything”.

Viva La Teddy!
