It’s hard to believe that a game like that had any failures….but maybe we were asking for the sky?

Evil Tressel – Success! In a game where we were favored by 44.5 points, we NEEDED Tressel to be evil, and he was. A reverse to the WR and having that WR throw? Yeah, that’s evil….especially when you notice that Pryor was out in a pass pattern. That throw was going to go to him!
Terrelle Pryor getting 400 total yards – Fail. But only because he didn’t play the second half. He nearly had 300 in the first half alone, so we can rest assured that he would have finished the job.
600 total yards of offense – Fail. But again, only because we gave mucho rest to our QB and Bauserman couldn’t have hit water if he fell out of a boat in the third quarter.

Focus and Improvement – Success! Practically on every count, as we were playing into our own strengths, AND finding weaknesses to attack again and again.
Wrinkles – Success! Haven’t seen a WR throw a TD pass since Indiana 2006.
Sustained Drives – Fail, but only because we would end up downfield way too fast. It’s a problem you WANT to have, but in this specific case, it’s a fail.
The Second Coming – Of Jermil Martin? Fail. But only because we handed it to him three times. Now as for Jordan Hall? 9 carries, 90 yards. That works.
Healthy Buckeyes – Fail. We really should have found a player to take revenge upon after the cheap shot ended Pettrey’s season.
Pretty Please? – No false starts this week? – Fail. Sigh.
DeWayne Walker – Success. We saw him. He saw us. He’s still seeing us in his nightmares.

An Offensive Identity – Success! It looked to all of us like we called the right plays for the proper players. Hall was getting the between-the-tackle runs, Herron was breaking the outside ones. Pryor was given QB draws, and there were rollout plays designed for him. It’s a start. Keep it up this week!
No Letdowns On Defense – Major success! We forced NINE three-and-outs, and it would have been more if not for fumble-itis taking over the Aggies offense for a spell. NMSU’s LONGEST drive of the game was 4 plays, 13 yards in a drive that ended with a fumble.
Eric
OSU to score more than 40 points – Success! 45 is more than 40!
Hurt Coleman scoring points – Fail. But will you accept “Hurt Coleman not allowing points”???
Terrelle Pryor not throwing off his back foot a single time (that we notice) – Fail. If Eric had asked for him to do it less than three times, it would have been a success. But we noticed it twice.
The O-Line gives up zero sacks – I’m going to say success! Bauserman got sacked once, but only because he danced around and looked kinda silly waiting to do something before he finally went down. The O-Line didn’t give up that sack, Joe Bauserman did.
