In 2007, the Colts clinched their playoff spot Dec. 23. They shut it down — partially at least — and didn’t play full-go again until Jan. 13. They then lost at home to San Diego.

They shut it down?  He makes it sound like they took 10 games off. They rested part of one game.  Come on.
