* Next comes the key sequence of the game, in my opinion. Great blitz pickup as Manning hits Collie for 18 on second down at the 2-minute warning. Then Manning goes deep down the right seam for Collie. Jets cornerback Drew Coleman mis-times his jump, he’s a little early instead of running a step or two more, and the pass floats perfectly to Collie for a much-needed big play to the Jets’ 16. Next play, neither Jets safety closes up the middle and Manning fires a strike to Collie for the TD. Three plays, 80 yards, 58 seconds, all Manning to Collie. As much as the Jets have accomplished in the opening half, their lead is down to 17-13, just like that, at halftime.
