Mike OsieckiAccording to David Borges of the New Haven Register, UConn Huskies freshman linebacker Mike Osiecki was arrested at the UConn Co-Op for stealing a PowerBar.

According to a police report, Osiecki, 18, selected a piece of merchandise from a food display and departed the store without purchasing it. According to a source, Osiecki swiped a PowerBar.

He was issued a misdemeanor summons for larceny in the sixth degree (shoplifting) and released on $500 bond. Osiecki is scheduled to appear at Rockville Superior Court at a later date.

Depending on which type of PowerBar he stole, the cost ranges anywhere from a $1 to $5.

Not a good start for Osiecki, who just enrolled at UConn in January, as you know the disciplinarian Randy Edsall will punish him.
