This Week On Golf Channel

Golf Channel was certainly busy last week covering The Masters and did a great job with its team in Augusta and at the channel’s headquarters in Orlando. I’m thinking down the line that Golf Channel has to get its hand on one of the major tournaments down the line, but before that happens, you have plenty of other programming to watch.

This week, you have the premiere of Donald Trump’s new reality show and there’s John Daly’s show that is continuing as well.

Donald Trump will head straight from the boardroom to the golf course in a new six-part series titled Donald J. Trump’s Fabulous World of Golf, debuting tonight at 9 p.m. ET.  In each hour-long episode, Trump will host a bevy of celebrities, superstar athletes and professional golfers at his exclusive golf properties around the world, as they compete head-to-head for their favorite charity.  The premiere episode, co-hosted by professional golfer and former Big Break contestant Blair O’Neal, showcases football greats Jerry Rice and Lawrence Taylor as they take their skills off the football field to face off on the green.

Airtime: Tuesday, 9-9:30 p.m.

Video Preview: Episode Seven Sneak Preview

The series’ seventh episode will take viewers to the Philadelphia Phillies spring training complex in Clearwater, Fla., where Daly throws out the first pitch. Later in the episode, Daly and his new caddy surprisingly win the PGA TOUR’s version of the Newlywed Game, and Golf Channel cameras follow him at the Transitions Championship, where he makes his third consecutive cut on the PGA TOUR.
