Last night, the New York Emmy Awards were handed out and it turned out that MSG Network was the big overall winner with 15. As far as sports networks, SNY had 5, YES took in 3 and MSG Plus won 1. Here are the winners in the sports categories. The entire list can be seen here.

Those are your New York Emmy Award winners in the sports category. Nice to see Mike Emrick win for play-by-play, but I was hoping to see Friend of Fang’s Bites Tina Cervasio win in the sports reporter category. Maybe next year.
