Thoughts and prayers go out to Braxton Miller’s family today

Yesterday, a lot of you joined Jeff over at Fox Sports Ohio for a very interesting day regarding Braxton Miller.  At 3pm, Miller was scheduled to participate in a video chat with Fox Sports and Scout.com, but he never made it.  He did text in a few times to say he was running late and eventually he cancelled, claiming a family emergency.

He wasn’t just blowing everybody off.  Braxton had some serious issues to deal with.

At 3pm yesterday, police were called to Miller’s home to attempt to handle an incident involving Miller’s mother, who is suffering from a mental illness and had reportedly forgotten to take her medication.

Kelly D. Miller, 42, has been charged with assault on a police officer, harassment with a bodily substance and domestic violence, according to Montgomery County Common Pleas Court records.

Kevin Miller, Braxton Miller’s father, said the situation was not serious and that no assault occurred at the family’s Huber Heights home.

Kevin Miller said Kelly Miller had an argument with the couple’s daughter that involved some grabbing, and that the family’s older son, Breyon, called 911 to diffuse the situation.

It came out today that Kelly Miller is suffering from a mental illness and had reportedly forgotten to take her medication.

Our best wishes go out to you today, Miller family.  You brought us a lot of happiness yesterday and you will do the same for the next five years.  The least we can do is let you know we’re thinking of you today.
