14 Interleague Games in 12 Days Headline MLB Network’s Game Schedule For June 9 – 26Schedule Features 2009 World Series Rematch and Five First-Place Teams in ActionSecaucus, N.J., June 9, 2010 – MLB Network will feature 14 Interleague games in 12 days during its live game schedule for June 9 – 26, including a rematch of the 2009 World Series between the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday, June 15 at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Phillies will face the Yankees once again during Thursday Night Baseball on June 17 at 7:00 p.m. ET with MLB Network’s Matt Vasgersian and John Smoltz calling the game live from Yankee Stadium. Five first-place clubs will also be featured during MLB Network’s Interleague game package, including the Tampa Bay Rays, Minnesota Twins, Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds.MLB Network’s slate of Interleague games begins this Friday with the Boston Red Sox, who are four games behind in the AL East, taking on the Philadelphia Phillies on June 11 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Other Interleague matchups include the Oakland Athletics against cross-bay rival San Francisco Giants, the Colorado Rockies visiting the AL Central first-place Minnesota Twins, and the Detroit Tigers against the New York Mets, who are 23-9 at home this season, at Citi Field. The Cincinnati Reds will face the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday, June 23 at 3:30 p.m. ET, available nationwide on MLB Network, including in both the Reds’ and Athletics’ home television markets.Tomorrow, June 10, the Cincinnati Reds, tied for first place in the NL Central and with undefeated rookie Mike Leake on the mound, take on the San Francisco Giants during MLB Matinee at 12:35 p.m. ET. The game will be available on MLB Network in the Reds’ home television territory. Later that day, the Philadelphia Phillies host the Florida Marlins in an NL East matchup on Thursday Night Baseball at 7:00 p.m. ET with MLB Network’s Matt Vasgersian and Joe Magrane calling the game live from Citizens Bank Park.MLB Tonight, MLB Network’s Emmy Award-winning signature nightly studio show with look-ins at live games, will air every weeknight throughout the regular season. MLB Tonight also airs on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. ET, followed by Quick Pitch at 7:00 p.m. ET and Plays of the Week at 8:00 p.m. ET.All Thursday Night Baseball telecasts will be produced by MLB Network, including MLB Network announcers.
