The countdown continues with greatest reds SS Barry Larkin… Whoops too much Reds Baseball on the brain.
We continue with Jake Stoneburner, known as Stoney, who could go down as the best TE we have had here in the Tressel era.
Jake is poised for a huge year. He had a great spring, which carried over to a great fall camp. With the evolution of the offense to throw to the TE more, Stoney is a weapon in that is going to be very difficult for other teams to defend. We can split him outside where he can use his size and strength to get open on CB’s, or we can keep him inside where he can use his speed against LB’s and S’s.
I say good luck to anyone trying to cover the Big Guy; glad this Big Time Playmaker is on our side! I predict he will have 20 times as many catches as he had last year. For those that struggle at math, he only had 2, so I am predicting 40 or more!
