Hines Coming Down the Homestretch…

We are finally a week away from kickoff.  I know that all of you have been waiting for this since last year’s Rose Bowl Victory.

The countdown to watch us stomp Marshall continues with one of the most famous numbers in OSU history that is not retired. Teddy Ginn, Joey Galloway, and Corny Greene are some names that a few people might vaguely remember.

But let’s give some love to a guy that just 4 years ago came in as a frosh that many didn’t know what to make of. Will he play? Is he a LB or S?

Hines Coming Down the Homestretch...
7 days away from seeing this again!

4 Years later, Jermale Hines will be one of your Buckeyes starting safeties. Opposing WR’s should be scared coming across the middle, with Hines staring them down.

While not being one of the Buckeye captains that were named yesterday, he will be a leader in the defensive backfield and a vital part of the defense.  He played last year as the nickel back and free safety and had 57 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, 2 INTs. I envision him being top 3 on the team in tackles this year, and with a big year he will play his way into the first half of the NFL draft!

We also would like to give a shout-out to Jordan Hall,  another RB that will see carries this year, he switched his number to seven in the off season.
