Not that it’s a bad thing in general

Grant’s forward momentum was stopped. Brackett went down. He suffered “only” a bruise — it appeared much worse on TV replays — and is expected to be ready for the Sept. 12 regular-season opener at Houston. Brackett went through the Colts’ light workout Saturday with just a light wrap on his right hand.

Defensive tackleAggression gets Brackett hurt Daniel Muir was at the scene of the helmet-to-hand collision, along with defensive end Robert Mathis. Linebacker Clint Session was in the neighborhood and safety Bob Sanders was lurking.

“That’s the way we play defense,” Muir said. “We swarm to the football. We run. Everybody’s thinking, ‘I’ve got to make that tackle.’
