“Throughout my football career, I haven’t battled as many injuries as I have since I’ve been here,” Pollak said. “I think that’s been a big thing for me mentally as well as physically. Going through camp until today, I’m the healthiest I’ve been since I’ve been in this uniform. I’m hoping that provides some dividends on the field on Sundays.” Pollak earned the job during a preseason in which Indianapolis dealt with a variety of injuries on the offensive line. “We had a lot of guys injured, so they had me and a couple of other guys feeling around at different positions,” Pollak said. “I guess that’s good, because I get to learn the ins and outs of the offense, so I think that helped out, too.”
