Would you like the bad news, or the good news? Bad news? Okay! It doesn’t look like Donald Brown plays this week. I think he gave it a try on Thursday, but just didn’t feel good on Friday. The team will give him two weeks rest and he should be 100% coming out of the bye.

Jacob Lacey seems likely to miss his second straight game. The corner back is suffering from foot soreness, and though he indicated it wasn’t serious, the team is inclined to give him enough rest to make sure he’s 100%.

Gary Brackett is in danger of missing the game. I thought he was just getting extra rest on Wednesday and Thursday, but the Colts’ defensive captain missed practice on Friday. Players that don’t practice generally don’t play. This could be a huge issue, with the Redskins fielding two good tight ends.

Anthony Gonzalez missed practice on Friday, and that’s in line with what we’ve been thinking for a while: he’ll miss this game, but come back post bye at 100%. The prospect of having all of Manning’s weapons on the field after the bye is certainly exciting. Knock on wood.

On to the good news: Addai, Collie, Garcon, and Hart should all play. All four were full participants on Friday and I expect them to be able to carry out their normal work loads. Collie has practiced more this week than last, so hopefully he’ll be on the field more than he was against the Chiefs.

The Colts’ defensive injuries are mounting, here’s to hoping Manning and the offense can overcome them and get this team into the bye week at 4-2.
