Former UConn Huskies and Dallas Cowboys fullback Deon Anderson has found a new home as he has signed a contract with the Miami Dolphins.
Anderson was released by the Cowboys after suffering a knee injury in their season opener. He did receive an injury settlement from the Cowboys.
He was originally a sixth round draft choice of the Cowboys in the 2007 NFL Draft out of UConn. In 39 games with the Cowboys over three plus seasons, Anderson had two rushes for three yards and caught nine balls for 67 yards and a touchdown.
Anderson, who excels on special teams, will provide depth at fullback for the Dolphins as well as help out on special teams.
