We referred to this earlier in the week, but we can now officially welcome Mr. Crowell to the Ohio State class of 2011.
At 6’1″ and 220 pounds, Conner has anchored the defense for Waldorf Maryland’s North Point HS. He’s being targeted at linebacker, and has been described as having the speed and size to play all three positions in Ohio State’s scheme.
Mr. Crowell’s offer sheet included Rutgers, Hawaii, North Carolina, West Virginia, Maryland, Stanford, and Penn State. The Nittany Lions were his other finalist, and many figured Connor to be a lock for Happy Valley given PSU’s success recruiting in Maryland.
