New names on injury report

Phil B runs them down

But there are a few names and injuries that are. LB Gary Brackett sat out with a toe. LT Charlie Johnson, who has been fighting a foot injury all season, now has a back. So, too, does TE Jacob Tamme.

I’m sure most fans will be nervous about Tamme, who caught a career-high 11 passes Sunday at Philly, bettering his previous career-best of six in his first NFL start against Houston on Nov. 1. He also had TD catches in each game. Yes, Dallas Clark’s replacement is important, but don’t be too quick to panic about him sitting out a day of practice. I’m guessing Tamme will be OK. Saw him in the hallway. He seemed in decent spirits. I know that doesn’t confirm anything, but we’ll talk to him Thursday to see where he’s at.
