A reference was made to Colts president Bill Polian saying injured S Bob Sanders is supposed to be back in town this week for an assessment on where the 2007 NFL Defensive Player of the Year is in his rehab from biceps surgery. Is Sanders back in town?
“He is in town,” Caldwell said. “I haven’t seen him personally yet, but he is here.”
So that’s the next step to him getting back into the fold?
“Yeah, well, they will give him an assessment and further evaluate and make some kind of determination of where he is and we’ll just keep moving forward,” Caldwell said. “From what I understand, he looks good and he certainly has gotten better.”
