Oehser recaps the game

*So much for Pierre Garcon having one of the worst seasons for a Colts receiver ever. He was inconsistent early in the season, but in recent weeks – as he has gotten closer to full health – has been what he appeared on his way to being last season: a physical receiver with speed – and one with a chance to develop into a big-time receiver.

*Garcon’s 43-yard catch-and-run, tackle-breaking reception on the Colts’ final drive was perhaps the critical play of the game. If the Colts are forced to punt there, there’s a lot more breath-holding at the end. “That was very pivotal,” Manning said. “Pierre did a heck of a job. We were looking for a six- or seven-yard completion and Pierre did a heck of a job getting down the sideline. Huge play.
