In what’s becoming a yearly ritual now for UConn Huskies football players, four seniors have been selected to play in two different post-season All-Star football games.
Linebackers Lawrence Wilson and Scott Lutrus will be heading to Orlando to play in the 86th Annual East-West Shrine game. Offensive lineman Zach Hurd and fullback Anthony Sherman are going to San Antonio to playing the NFLPA Texas vs The Nation game.
The 86th Annual East-West Shrine game will take place on January 22, 2011 at 4 p.m. at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. It will be televised on the NFL Network.
The 5th Annual NFLPA Texas vs Nation game will take place on February 5, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX. The game will be televised on CBS College Sports.
