PFF previews Jets/Colts

Good things to say about Pollak

On the good side, Peyton Manning is playing like an MVP … and maybe never really stopped doing so, even when he was making mistakes. … Colts RG Mike Pollak had a great four-game stretch as the Colts surged to the playoffs. … Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney destroyed their late opposition — 45 total pressures between them in the last four games. … CB Justin Tryon has been quietly excellent since getting added playing time, and is a bit of a secret weapon in the Indy secondary. For the Jets, Braylon Edwards had a solid stretch after looking like a liabilty in November. … No one is hotter than Darrelle Revis, who’s quietly worked back to that All-Pro form of 2009.

The Colts ended the season on high notes across the board, but Aaron Francisco has been graded negatively five weeks running. The Jets’ Matt Slauson really limped into the playoffs with grades of -3.3, -0.2, -1.9 and -1.9. … Dustin Keller also has saved his worst for last, and they really need the early-season Keller to return.
