Spurs release tentative 2011-12′ Preseason Schedule

MGThe San Antonio Spurs have released their 2011-2012 preseason schedule on their offical site.

Please keep in mind that this will be the schedule if the NBA lockout ends before training camp dates begin.

The Spurs will have a seven-game preseason schedule in which they will face five Western conference teams and two Eastern conference teams. Spurs fans will have a chance to see the team four times at home during this stretch.

They begin at home on October 9 against Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets. They will then travel to Sacramento to face BYU rookie Jimmer Fredette and the Sacramento Kings on October 11. They return home for another game against the Kings on October 15 and stay home against rookie Kyrie Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers on October 17. Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic will come to town on October 20 and then the team will travel to Houston to face Louis Scola and the Houston Rockets on October 24. The last preseason game will be against Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder on October 27 in Oklahoma City.

The season will tip off at home on November 2 against Stephen Jackson and the Milwaukee Bucks.
