Strength of Card:
Excitement Level: Low. The excitement meter for UFC 137 has steadily declined. George St-Pierre vs Nick Diaz was heavily anticipated. The change to GSP vs Carlos Condit drained the meter a fair bit. GSP vs no one, and the meter is empty.
Who Should Buy This PPV?: Only the hardcores. And, unfortunately for the UFC, most people will probably heed this advice.
Projected PPV Buyrate: 225,000
Fight of the Night: Dennis Siver vs Donald Cerrone. Because Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone is awesome, that’s why.
Best Fight on the Undercard: See above.
Best Bet (if you are betting man/woman): Dennis Siver (+200). In most online rankings, Dennis Siver’s name appears ahead of his UFC 137 opponent Donald Cerrone’s. Yet the oddmakers are giving you the chance to double your money by picking Siver to win.
Win or Go Home: Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipovic and Roy Nelson. And since they are fighting each other, that means one of them is going to be out of work after this fight.
