As a collector of all kinds of sports caps, I’m always on the lookout for something new, perhaps a fresh new design since there are usually only a limited number of tired old ways you can design team caps.
For their latest edition of caps that will debut at Hall of Fame stores on Friday, Mitchell & Ness has flipped their lid…literally.
Several team caps are set to debut featuring vintage team logos flipped upside-down on the cap.
The San Antonio Spurs version is black with a grey bill and features the fiesta logo.
Now, I’m always a supporter of being creative, but this seems like a bad idea that came after a batch of caps failed QA tests because the logos were stitched on wrong.
I’m not putting this one on my holiday wishlist, but I’d like to know what your thoughts are in the comments below.
