The San Antonio Spurs have recalled point guard Cory Joseph from their D-League affiliate Austin Toros. With guard T.J. Ford injured in the Spurs’ win over the Knicks, the Spurs were left short-handed at the point guard spot.
With the Toros, Cory averaged 10.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 30.3 minutes in six games. In Austin’s most recent game, Joseph poured in eight points, three assists, and two steals in 28 minutes in a Toros 100-105 loss to the Skyforce.
The Spurs will face the Los Angeles Clippers tonight at the AT&T Center.
