Jeff Garcia and Paul Garcia joined me yesterday as I made my return to the San Antonio Spurs Roundtable powered by Project Spurs.
We talked about the biggest news first, with Erazem Lorbek choosing to stay with his team in Regal Barcelona, who offered him a boatload of cash to stay in Spain.
Asked if there was anyone else out in the free agent market that could make up for that loss, Jeff said the Spurs should look to take care of their own players, especially Tim Duncan, before they look to add any other players.
We also touched on Tony Parker’s eye injury and his latest game with the French National Team. Nando De Colo was also in town for a visit recently and seems to be a lock to join the Spurs next season.
We closed the show with Paul taking us through a free agency roundup, giving us the latest status on some of the players the Spurs have been linked with, and it appears they will likely lose out on most, if not all, of those players.
Thanks, as always, to News4WOAI for partnering up with us on the roundtable and to Bob Gambert for guest hosting recently. If you’re interested in appearing on a future show, leave us a comment below.
