Right before the trade deadline ended on Wednesday, it was confirmed that Buffalo Sabres forward Matt Moulson was acquired by the Minnesota Wild.
Moulson has been another big name thrown around over the last week and it was reported that Buffalo was interested in moving him before the deadline Wednesday. He was dealt from the New York Islanders to the Sabres earlier this season in exchange for Thomas Vanek.
This season, Moulson has 17 goals and 38 points in 55 games with both Buffalo and New York. The 30-year old forward has been coming into his own in the NHL over the last few years alongside former teammate John Tavares.
The Sabres were said to be one team that would be on a trading spree as they rank dead last in the NHL with a record of 18-35-8.
