  • Sixers PG Michael Carter-Williams to be named NBA Rookie Of The Year : According to NJ.com, Philadelphia 76ers point guard Michael Carter-Williams is expected to be named NBA Rookie of the Year. Carter-Williams, set the NBA record for most steals in a debut, averaged 16.7 points, 6.3 assists and 6.2 rebounds for the 19-63 Sixers. Drafted 11th overall out of Syracuse, Carter-Williams was voted the East’s Rookie of the Month four times.
  • Atletico’s Diego Costa Heading to Chelsea for £75 Million : According to ProSoccertalk.com and Goal.com, Atletico striker Diego Costa has agreed to a £75 million move to Stamford Bridge.  Per the reports, Costa will receive a five-year contract worth £150,000 a week.
  • Seventh Heaven In NBA :  Thanks to a modern-day record of five game 7’s, the NBA is set up for a memorable weekend as Atlanta-Indiana, Brooklyn-Toronto, Dallas-San Antonio, Memphis-San Antonio and Golden State-Los Angeles are all set to face each other for the right to advance to their conference semifinals. With Miami, Washington and Portland all wining their series, they may have an advantage in getting some much-needed rest.
