Boston Bruins look to win back-to-back games for the first time this season.
They’re coming off a huge win against the Chicago Blackhawks. Terrific, competetive game from both sides. We’d love to see a Bruins-Blackhawks finals, mostly ’cause it’d let us trash talk with BHDL more.
Kampfer’s been on the ice practicing this week. He took a huge, accidental hit from Lucic at the end of practice. You know it was accidental ’cause Looch was the one that threw the hit. Guy hasn’t thrown a check since Kessel left Boston. Is Kessel the soruce of Looch’s power? Dear god…
Krejci also hit the ice for the first time today though he didn’t do line rushes. He won’t suit up. Adam “Brickhead” McQuaid is a game time decision. Pretty sure McQuaid at 50% is still better than Bartkowski at 110%.
From the last Bruins-‘Canes recap:
“The team was lifeless for 2 1/4 periods. It wasn’t until Wonder Boy Tyler Seguin ripped a lazer did the team finally woke up. Kid looked pissed after his goal. Average age of the teams best scorers this year is 21. Yay for veteran leadership.
In fact, everyone but Seguin, Marchand, Rask and Thomas have been like ghosts for most of the young season. Unreal. Someone needs to tell the boys that preseason is over. These games count.”
The game was lame. Best part was Pizz spotting Margaret McPoyle. Hoping she makes a return tonight with better Bruins results.
Also, we tried recording another podcast last night with TalkShoe Live and it was another failure. Looking at alternatives. Might go with BlogTalk Radio but we kinds need a sponsor to pay for the yearly fee (taking donations and sponsors now). Anyone else more familiar with podcasting have ideas? We have a shoestring budget, or as we like to call it at DOY HQ, a budget the size of Pizz’s penis.
More after the jump… including where to watch tonight’s game online, gameday links and the projected roster
Kaberle got his ring today. Will he got boo’d tonight? Maybe. Should he? Meh. There are worse guys to hate. Not like he turned down a re-sign offer from Chiarelli at all. He also was the second best scoring defensemen for Boston in the playoffs — right behind Seidenberg.
