Remember opening night when Shawn Thornton chirped Zac Rinaldo, telling him to enjoy his 5 games in the NHL before getting shipped back down to the minors?
Well… Shawn was right. Rinaldo just got sent back down to the AHL after five games.
The Brayden Schenn experiment is about to unfold in the City of Brotherly Love. Philadelphia Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren re-called his prized wing from the Adirondack Phantoms on Wednesday morning and returned forwards Zac Rinaldo and Harry Zolnierczyk.
Zac Whatshisface had 1 point in five games played with 28 PIM.
With Thornton’s new found power we can only hope he forsees good things in the Bruins near-future.
