Quick preview ’cause Greg is sick and I’m feeling like Tim Thomas doing 8 or 9 posts in a row. Might need to sign a blogger off waivers until Greg is back from the IR.
Back to the game…
Boston Bruins take on the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight and finally Marty Turco will get the nod for his first NHL start in over a year. He’s starting two games too late but better late than never???
Of course we’ve been bitching a lot about the Bruins play but they’re working with a rotating skeleton crew. We can’t remember the last time the Bruins were all healthy or even 90% healthy. ‘Tis the price one pays for a long playoff the season before. Taking into consideration the number of AHLers and plugs Julien is suiting up everynight, the Bruins aren’t doing a horrible job.
Doesn’t make it any tougher to watch.
Tampa Bay is sitting in 11th spot. So much for the 1-3-1. A far cry from last year’s playoff.
Speaking of the Thunderbug… remember when the mascot got canned for spraying silly string on a Bruin fan. Good times.
More Photoshops after the jump…
