Earlier today we learned that Zdeno Chara was leaving for the KHL and now Patrice Bergeron has also made a decision. According to HC Lugano’s website, Bergeron will join the team in the “coming days.” Google translation also had some… amusing interpretations of the original press release:
The Hockey Club Lugano chose his NHL star for the duration of the lockout and white fans can start dreaming.
That’s right. Start dreaming, whities.
Then there’s this interesting tidbit:
The employment Bergeron has been possible thanks to funding from people outside the organization Hockey Club Lugano that Juventus held in this time of great enthusiasm to warmly thank for the success of the operation.
Outside funding? Interesting. Wonder how much Bergy is making.
