It's been a long, long fall and winter without hockey but thank your chosen deity that it's finally back. To celebrate, we're teaming up with the Harp, Coors Light, SupahFans Streetwear and several of our other favorite hockey blogs — Bruins Daily and Boston Sports Then & Now — for a Hockey Resurrection Party.
The first Bruins shindig of the year will be on Thursday, January 17th at the Harp (85 Causeway Street) from 7-10pm. There'll be free appetizers, raffles and giveaways, a silent auction and some special guests. There also will be a "SupahFan" contest. Dress up in your Bruins memorobilia to show you're the biggest "SupahFan" and win some free swag.
Also, the party is FREE itself.
Oh, and we'll have special guest and Patron Saint of Days of Y'Orr, Shawn Thornton in attendance. Woot!
We've done viewing parties in the past and will do them again, but we wanted to celebrate the end of the lockout and start of the 2013 season in fine fashion. And any excuse to hang out, drink and talk hockey with other Bs fans is a good excuse in our book.
