Regular Days of Y'Orr readers know that the staff is beloved and revered in the city of Buffalo. One of the great things about our site is we've been able to reach audiences all over the globe and Buffalo seems to have taken a special liking to us. They absolutely LOVE us.
We've made so many friends from Buffalo and we get so many colorful emails from Sabres fans expressing their undying love for us and apparently doing things to our assholes.
So, with that in mind we wanted to help celebrate the anniversary of the GREATEST day in Buffalo sports history. A day none of us, especially those citizens of Buffalo, will ever forget.
Let us set the stage for you if the memory is foggy…..
The Marine Midland Arena (now known as First Niagara Center) was buzzing. The Dallas Stars were looking for the franchises first Stanley Cup, while the Sabres were battling to force a Game Seven to hopefully win their first Stanley Cup.
The drama boiled over into overtime as both teams desperately battled for supremacy. Then it happened. A day that will forever live on in the hearts of each Buffalonian. The absolute GREATEST moment in the history of the city!

Such sweet memories. So, again, Happy Birthday Buffalo and may you forever remain Cup-less!
