Nathan Horton is now officially gone. The Columbus Blue Jackets have annouced they signed Horton to a seven year deal.
Holy shit that's a long term contract.
Nathan Horton's deal with CBJ is 7 years, $37.1 ($5.3 AAV) but he gets $30M in first 5 years.

Not an awful AAV, though. The contract length might kill them later, but Columbus obviously looking to get a clutch playoff player for the now and worry about the later, well, later. CBJ are having a press conference at 4pm to announce the deal.
Best of luck, Horton, and thanks for the 2011 Cup.
