Everyone knows that I have an undying mancrush on Jarome Iginla. Shit, I even called him signing here:
Still think Iginla comes here

Apparently, Iginla wants to stay here for more than a year. The Bruins were the first to bring these comments to light:
And similar to Recchi, Iginla has his sights on being in Boston longer than just 2013-14.
"I know that’s getting ahead, but it’s something [where] you want to find a home, too," said the forward, with his contagious smile, as he took in the cool air of his training rink in British Columbia. "I'm excited."
Personally, I'm glad to see the guy in the black and gold. I know a lot of people don't want him because he "spurned" the Bruins at the end of March and chose Pittsburgh over Boston – but welcome to hockey. If you had to choice to play with Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin or Chris Kelly and Rich Peverley/Styler Seguin/Dan Paille, who would you choose?
I'd probably pick the team that locked up first place in the Eastern Conference.
Of course we all know how that ended.
Even with all this said, I wouldn't really buy into the long term ideals of Jarome Iginla. The guy just turned 36 and by all accounts lost his legs during the shortened season (but then again, so did a lot of guys). It's a good thing that Iggy is only on a one year contract and hopefully it turns out to be a Tuukka Rask type of situation for him.
