Kevan Miller has been one of this year's pleasant surprises. He's been a rock for the Bruins defense which has been riddled by injures. And he's just been rewarded for that hard work.
The Boston Bruins signed Miller to a two year extension, one-way contract with a very cap-friendly hit of $800,000. What a discount for the play we've seen from him.
We wonder if this is the beginning of the end for Adam McQuaid in Boston. Of course, the Bs need healthy bodies, so if injuries keep happening in Boston that might not happen as soon as some people expect.
Chara, Seidenberg, Miller, McQuaid Boychuk, Hamilton all signed through next year. Bartkowski and Krug will be RESTRICTED free agents.
