You woke up this morning and read the news about Torey Krug and Reilly Smith. They’ve signed you guys! If you didn’t already perform your regular morning masturbatory session before the news, you certainly did after.
But seriously, this is great news. Both signed bridge deals at 1 year, $1.4M a piece. I am surprised that Krug took a bridge deal since there were rumblings that he was really being a stickler about his contract. Please don’t take that as me shitting all over the guy because he wouldn’t bend over for Chiarelli. I wouldn’t do it either if I had the option. As a player you try to maximize how much money you can get, but unfortunately they are in the Bruins system and the Bruins system is already filled with well paid players.
Either way Smith and Krug can now practice with the Bruins.
