Zdeno Chara being out the next 4-6 weeks is a Jimmy Murphy wetdream. Sadly, this is an awful thing for the Bruins.
But reinforcements are on their way… or something…
Zach Trotman and Joe Morrow recalled from @AHLBruins and will be in Boston for practice this morning.

Yikes.
As Marshall said in last night’s recap: “The drop-off after Chara and Hamilton is so steep three kids died trying to go sledding down it last winter.”
And for those who don’t remember, Julien had this gem of a quote from training camp after sending Joe Morrow off the ice early:
“I didn’t want to see him anymore”
And he’s replacing Chara on the roster. Good times, man.
So fans will get an unfortunate glimpse at what life without Chara will be like with it’s current defensive corps. Meanwhile we’ll be hitting the bottle so hard you’d think we’re still wet with placenta. That Boychuk move looked like ass when it first happened; now it looks John Scott level bad.
