MLB.com Incredible News Source

I’ve heard of journalists writing their recaps before the game is over so that they can be the first to get the news out, or reach the pressing deadline, but I’ve never heard of actually publishing before it’s over.

MLB.com jumped the gun on their front page regarding tonight’s Phillies/Dodgers result.  For anyone who didn’t already know, the Dodgers held a one run lead in the 9th with two outs, but Jimmy Rollins plated two on a double to the gap to give the Phillies a walk-off victory. The Dodgers did not tie the series, the Phillies took a 3-1 series lead.

I just feel bad for the Dodgers fans who for some manly reasons couldn’t watch tonight’s game and checked MLB.com real quick before going to bed.

The next day at work could be really embarrassing when they go up to “the guys” and say, “Hell of a win last night, huh fellas?!?”
