The Pistons won their third straight tonight with a 106-103 win against the Bullets-Wizards of Washington. It was their sixth straight loss and probably making Flip Saunders wonder why the hell he ever came back to coaching. Oh, he’s making $18 million over four years? Okay.
What nearly held back the Pistons tonight?
Mike Miller for one.
And boy did he look ridiculous.
Pony-tail, trashy facial hair, cross-eyed, awful tats, and that preposterous shirt under his jersey with one sleeve cut off. He lost in lyfe tonight, too.
And then there is Earl Boykins, the Eastern Michigan graduate. That teeny, 135 pound guy is tenacious and nearly carried the Wizards to victory. It’s true. He can bench nearly triple his weight. But, man, is he short! He only comes up to Ben Wallace’s nips.
In the end it was Ben “I Have Ice Water in My Veins If You’re Thirsty” Gordon and Charlie “I Can’t Grow Hair, But I Can Put Up 25 points” Villanueva who led the Pistons to victory.
I’m sorry, did I hear someone stupid say these two guys were overpaid?
